Get familiar with American Apostille services

Before I give you overviews of our American Apostille Services, let us get familiar with what is an Apostille?

In simple words, Apostille is a kind of document authentication (Issue for various documents like birth certificate, marriage, license, business documents and lot more) issued for use in foreign countries that fall under the Hague Convention, 1961. The main thing is to verify and authenticate the signature used in the document. The apostille documents are valid in those countries.  You can learn more about Hague Convention at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apostille_Convention

Who issues Apostille for my documents?

An apostille stamp for your various documents can be received from the office of the secretary of the state. Any US citizen or foreign national can receive apostille on documents to be used overseas. In some cases the deputies of the secretary of state are also authorized.  In other countries designated authorities for Apostille can include embassies, courts, government officials, ministries etc.

What does an apostille looks like?

An apostille certificate in 15cm square in size and is attached to another document. Both the certificate and the documents are marked with an official seal. You can seem the sample apostille documents in the pic below.
